This finally came to a head this morning, with a video clip that he wanted.I could even get there through browser FTP connections, but not my FTP client (which, note, would connect to anything else, just not his server). in the end, the best I can figure is that it doesn't seem to like the DNS redirect that gets to his server. A little more looking reminds me that this is, to put it mildly, antiquated software (as in it's version 5, and Ipswitch just released version 9). Since they no longer offer a free version, and I'm not paying $35 for an FTP client, it was time to kiss it goodbye.
Luckily, just this morning, I was turned on to FileZilla, which works absolutely ducky. Time to move on...
