Couple of things.

I feel like Mr. Orbach was a family member. That show helped shape who I am. I am deeply saddened.

Also, that song is one of my alltime favorite rainy day songs. yey.

I have called Jerry Orbach "The Big Blue Bird" ever since I was a young girl. I watched Dirty Dancing and there is a particular scene....when he is sitting on the porch in the early morning light, and he is ignoring Baby....well, the lighting is just a tad blue. He looked JUST LIKE the eagle on the muppets to me. So, he was always the "Big Blue Bird."

I heard about Susan Sontag yesterday, but this is the first I've heard of Jerry Orbach.
