So, apparently, Trump wants to rebuild the Twin Towers (only, make them one foot higher!) right where they used to be, saying that "Freedom Tower" is a bad idea. Personally? I agree. Partly it's because I'm sick of all the sappy sugary-sweet memorials and tributes and fuck-all that has come out of the events of 9-11, and I'm all for anything that tries to put a lid on it. Another reason is that I like the idea of thumbing our nose at the terrorists of the world more than I like the idea of a giant tombstone they can point at and proudly say they caused.

You cannot fight a "war on terrorism", no matter how many patriotic-sounding speeches our English-mangling President makes while he runs this country into the ground...but any psychologist or psychiatrist will tell you that facing fear down and showing it you are NOT afraid helps it to go away, while giving into fear only makes it worse.
