Me too. I've never been one of those that can "collect" something, simply for the value of it, especially if that means keeping them inside their little blister packs, etc. Nope, I have to open them up, check them out. i used to collect, years ago, but all the ones i had in junior high/high school were lost sometime between when I went to college (they stayed behind) and that house was sold (my little brother got to them). I started back up again, last year or so.
Wow, I used to be as well. Good news, the ranks of the evolved keep growing. In fact I am having it endoctrined into the PLDC (Primary Leadership Development Course) program here. Teaching other soldiers how to be leaders, and to let them know, TINB.
I had a lot when I was a kid. Fortunately, my parents didn't throw them out. I recently salvaged two collecting cases from their basement. It was interesting to see that I had doubles of a few. One for displaying and one for playing, as most of the doubles were totally beaten up. I never kept them in the blister pack, as those were too awkward to store anyway. I really miss the old school yellow box packaging.
