White Trash

Did a little thrift-store wandering this afternoon, and, as usual, found some beautiful, funny, and hideous stuff. Here's some highlights:

a foam-rubber-core pillow, cylindrical, about 9 inches in diameter and 3 1/2 feet long, upholstered in a greenish shag...so 70's it hurts!
speaking of 70's, found a recipe set from 1973 in near-mint condition. You know, one of those "recipes on cards with a plastic collection box" that they'd send you one set of cards a month or so? This thing is almost complete, and some of the pictures are just scary...I'll scan some in the near future (for an idea of how bad I mean, check out The Institute of Regrettable Food)

a nifty bronze candle holder in the style of a Japanese lantern

But now it's tie to kick back with a movie or two, a bag of Peanut Butter M&M's, and a beautiful woman. Good weekend to you all!
