So, we're kicked back on the back porch, and up drives a cop, lights on and silent. He stops, and after a moment drives out at high speed. A few moments later, we hear an intermittent siren, and figure he's got whoever they were pinning down. Few minutes goes by, and here's another cop that stops, lights on. He talks to a couple people walking by, and I can hear his radio say something about someone with a switch-blade.

Needless to say, we chose to come on in and lock the doors for now. Safety first, especially with the kid here.
