Yeesh

Looking over my friends list...damn. Overwhelmingly, not a good start to the new year. Some will take this as a bad sign, a shape of things to come. Me, though...I'm glad to see it. I'm glad it's starting out bad, and I'm glad I'm starting it out sick.

Why, you ask?

Because I believe in karma, and I believe in balance. And, as such, getting this bad now implies getting good later...and I want good. Yes, it's true, I also believe in chaos, but I believe in chaos as a creative force, as the primal beginning...which makes all things possible.

I'm all about possibilities.

So rejoice, my friends. Rejoice and be happy that these annoyances and troubles are hitting now, when the year is young and yet unformed. Bathe yourself in temporary misery...and be ready to let it wash off of you like yesterday's dust.

Here's to new beginnings.
