You know I bought this nice fancy computer and I have yet to do anything with it. I can hook the cable up to it and watch movies and burn them to dvd, I can hook up my camcorder and convert the vhs/c tapes to dvd, etc. I would like to say I have not had the time to mess with it but in all honesty I am too computer stupid to figure it out. LOL
Brian eventually wants to integrate our entire home entertainment center with our computer, then get a big giant plasma screen. Muah, we'll never leave the house again....
RADEON 9600 vid card has VGA, S-Video, and DVI outputs. My flatscreen is a VGA hookup, and I rummaged around in my "box o' cords" until I found a S-Video-to-Composite (female) connector. Ran it (plus a set of Composite jacks) to the RCA input jacks on my VCR, and booyah. Once I hit Radio Shack or something to find a headphone-to-Composite (female), I'll plug it all into the sound card, and the TV will run the sound, as well...useful for showing videos and DivX movies to people (much easier than crowding around my desk).
All in all, a second screen on my TV, and I can have it "on' as I choose by selecting the "Video-2 In" on the VCR, but can still play my tapes/DVDs as normal, without hooking and unhooking the cables.
Anything in particular you want it to say/do? No, nothing in particular. Just a nice striking all-purpose kind of naughty nun, thanks. If it looks cool, "Sister Mary" text would be just fine.
Terms? If the mood strikes you to make me a fansign, that's more than enough
I'm not sure what a fansign is, though I'm more than happy to comply once I do know. Thanks again!
Though I'm still not sure about a fansign, I will put up a large "thank you for the fabulous icon, archmage!" in my journal in the bio part of the user info panal!
I used a much older computer last night to down- and upload the icon. Now that I think about, this computer hasn't, thus far, recognized animated icons. So I'll get on a newer computer later today and resave the icon. Thanks again for the icon- I'm excited to know that it's animated!
