Long day at the ranch, becoming a long afternoon cleaning the old place.
Well, would have been. but
zombiedip and I decided it was just too damn hot to do it. So, start fresh bright and early tomorrow. Just books and other assorted odds'n'ends to shove in the car and bring home, and cleaning up to be done. Not hard, but tedious. Don't suppose anyone wants to get up and come help us, huh? ;)
Interesting development: if all goes well (and, thus far, it seems like it will), then not only willdravengodvamp and purpleflake be back up here as of late September, but they may be living in the townhouse right behind mine. how cool would that be, eh?
OK, really should unpack the car. One day soon, I also need to try and figure out why my washer seems to be leaking. *sigh* Always something, you know.
