I've just discovered a new band to geek over: Battlelore. Why can't America turn out bands like this? Probably because they're too interested in reality TV and American Idol, and think they're too cool to actually put that much thought into a look and persona. Is it any wonder I was a fan of bands like KISS and GWAR?

Yes, very D&D, very LotR. They sound a lot like Tristania, if you're curious. Of course, if you don't know them either, that won't help...but if you find you like one, you'll probably go for the other, as well. Two for the price of one, as it were.
