With that in mind, lemme tell ya, Hellraiser: Deader (number 7) and Hellraiser: Hellworld (number 8) are simply hideous. Just plain bad. Badly written, badly acted, badly directed, with continuity problems, glaring goofs, and no connection whatsoever to the entire Hellraiser mythos. Don't get me wrong, I'll still own them...I'd drive myself crazy if I didn't, knowing they were out there and I didn't have the whole series (I know, I'm crazy, but I'm the same one racking up all the Friday the 13th films, too, and we all know what THEY are like).
Well, anyway. If you had been wavering and managed to not see them yet, this is your confirmation not to bother.
