discordian, as you may or may not know, moved back to Memphis. He called me up today to tell me that he just got his new Tennessee car tags. Tennessee tags are a set of three letters, a space, and a set of three numbers, and it turns out that the three letters are my initials. What are the odds?

Now, that's funny enough, but he mentions that he hasn't figured out yet how to relate the numbers to me. I ask for them, and he tells me: 284. A minute later, we are both laughing madly, as we realize that 84 divided by 2 is 42, and, since we're both big fans of The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, well, that spoke volumes.
