Game Geek

I've really had the opportunity to get back to game geeking lately, and I fuckin' love it. Not only is my regular game flourishing nicely with the addition of two new players, but it looks like I might have another, less frequent game starting up. Picked up new game books for the first time in ages, and had Aaron (one of the two new guys) give me a stack of old 1st edition D&D stuff, which rocked my socks. Finally bought a giant plush d20 the other day, simply because Dianna and I wanted it.

On top of it all...looks like I'm going to start painting miniatures again. I did it, years ago, and still have a few of them left, and, if I do say so myself, I used to be pretty damn good. The new game starting will be using minis, due to one player being a complete newbie to gaming and a visual-type person, so I figured, what the Hell.

Yeah, I'm returning to a game-oriented lifestyle, and that's just the way I like it.
