Tired

Man, I've been seriously dragging ass lately. My sleep is not so good, and I'm not getting enough of it. Hell, by the time I get back from picking up Doug, it's 12:45, and if I go straight to bed, I might be asleep by 1:30 (I rarely can just fall immediately asleep, I gotta read for a bit). Chances are good, though, that I am wired enough to be up for anything like an hour or two. Then there's the fact that I have to be up at the ass-crack of dawn so I can get in the car with Dianna and get to the farm, so there's that twice a week...which means those night are not enough sleep, and I don't get the chance to make it up before it happens again. The rest of the time, I could sleep late, but I almost never do, my body wakes up by 9am (only sleeping past it if I was up REALLY late.

All this is building up to my being fairly swimmy, these days. If I'm not actively doing something, I'll come close to passing out right where I sit. Many's the time lately where I'm on some website, and I realize I'm all but asleep in my chair. Hell, tonight makes the second night in recent times that I've gone to bed and passed out for a couple hours early in the day or evening...and I used to never be able to sleep in the middle of the day.

If Doug and Kat's new room-mate actually pays Doug on time, like he's supposed to, then Doug will have a car within the next week, and you better believe I'm looking forward to that. It means I can go to bed at a more manageable and reasonable time, and start making up all this sleep I've lost.

In the meantime, there's always CoH.
