So, yeah, the R&F Winery is still going full swing. Right now, there's a wonderful Trio Blanca working away, and a beautiful Cabernet Sauvignon that will be ready to bottle in two weeks. It's quite the operation, to say the least. The Chardonnay still needs a little time to age, but is pretty good, and the Gewürztraminer (which I cracked open for the first time two nights ago) is excellent. And, of course, there's always the blackberry. ;)

Behind the cut are some pix taken a couple months ago, but I never got around to posting them.

Good shot of the wine racks. When we get the root cellar dug and built, we'll have to move all this into it...yeesh...

Time to taste test the Chardonnay.

A toast: I tend this vine, I give my time, I am the shepherd of the wine.

Final verdict: needs ageing, but damn good anyway.

Ray, telling some story which must have been amusing.

Three generations of wine-makers...well, two wine-makers and one whiner. :P

Dianna took this one as well, the same day. She says she just likes it because I was doing "manly stuff" (woodwork, obviously).

You know, looking over these...I'm just confirming that I am so not photogenic, it's just silly.
