Sitting here with Ray, I see a lot of CNN, MSNBC, and the like (like it or not). With the midterm elections coming, you can guess that they are going ga-ga with coverage, conjecture, and whatnot...man, I'm fuckin' sick of it. Tell ya what I hate the most, though: the sheer bullshit of it all.

As usual, they make a huge thing out of which party each is, and half of their discussion centers on which one will control what, and which feels what way, etc. I gotta tell you, the whole "party" idea is one of the worst ideas Amerika's ever had, and that's saying something. It only serves to cloud the situation, allowing people to vote for their party fave without ever checking out the candidates themselves. Way too many people care more about their party than the good of the country...and look where it's got us, huh?

Add to that, the pathetic excuses for interviews these candidates give. Someone asks them a question and they don't answer, they just spout off some more campaign rhetoric that sounds nice but says nothing. It's useless, I can't see why they even bother, other than to get their face on TV.

And the news stations, they're the worst, because they make it all worse. They nurture and foster all this, shoving it down our throats. The hype the whip up is just silly. For instance, MSNBC is referring to this election coverage as "Battleground America"...do I even need to say anything about this? Give me a break.

Fuck TV, fuck politics, and fuck them all.
