Yeah, happy holiday, to all y'Americans. Go ahead, gorge yourselves, stare at the TV, and generally be American. Frankly, I'm not exactly in the mood to "give a lot of thanks" this year, though I will say I'm very thankful to have the wonderful wife that I have, who loves me and cares about me and deals with me, and I'm thankful for those friends I have who do exactly the same thing (though not in the same ways, of course). You all make it worth living another day on this mudball planet.

My apologies to non-Americans, for having to hear about it and for having to put up with Americans who assume you have this holiday, too.
