I have this tendency to file away information in my head. Honestly, most of it is just useless tidbits of info that I pick up, but plenty of it is useful (it makes me annoying to play against in Trivial Pursuit, I'm told). Typically, this means that, if asked a question, I frequently have a legit answer. discordian calls me the "Encyclopaedia Chaotica."

Anyway, this comes out a lot in useless community posts. Someone will post a pic, and ask a question, and plenty of people have their little one-phrase answers, either just reacting or spouting off some stupid comment, and here I come, typing out a long, detailed post, explaining the situation, helping to understand, and generally answering the question in the best way I can. After all this, it usually dawns on me that no one gives a shit, and I delete the whole thing, unposted, with a sense of loss.

This is also why I avoid forums.
