Wow
Slept decent. Ray was in good spirits and didn't annoy me. Dianna cleaned the house, bought groceries. I get home, she offers me the controller to play Gauntlet: Dark Legacy, then makes me a drink. Fixin's for "White Trash Chip Killer" for dinner. Enter The Dragon cued up and ready to go. Plans for...stuff...later tonight.

I gotta tell ya, this is the best day I've had in three fuckin' months.

There is a husband (most likely mine), somewhere right now going, "AWWWWW MAN, I wanna do stuff too."

Awesome to hear! I so wanted to get Gauntlet but couldn't convince the elf to turn away from CoH for even a little bit. ;-)

It won't keep me away from CoH long, but it's a nice diversion.

What is White Trash Chip Killer?

"White Trash Chip Killer" is the dip that eats like a meal, so white trash it hurts. Brown a pound of ground beef, drain it, set aside. Cube a pound of Velveeta, melt it most of the way in the microwave, add a can of Ro-tel Diced Tomatoes and Green Chiles, melt the rest of the way, stir in the meat, season to taste (I add a fuckton of garlic and oregano, and a hint of black pepper), and stick the bowl on the table with a bag of hefty tortilla chips. If y'feeling saucy, you can also add mushrooms, olives, or plenty of other things. Guaranteed to abuse all but the toughest of chips, and damn tasty.
