After my rant yesterday, I passed a few e-mails with
swanwhite, the gist of which was that she hates seeing me like this, and asked me not to talk her out of talking to her Mom about how things could be changed (which I usually have done). When Rose got home, she mentioned that she'd been thinking, and how she knows this isn't what I want to be doing, etc. Funny part is that Di hadn't talked to her yet. ;)Anyway, she mentioned a couple things, and talked to Ray last night. So, a couple small changes: most important is that, starting immediately, I will be leaving at 12:30. That only leaves Ray alone for a couple hours before Rose gets home, and he can handle that just fine, and it gives me some of my day back. Obviously, days when we have therapy appointments, I'll have to be here for the duration to transport him, but it's a start. Ray claims he will start handling more things on his own, but I'll believe that when I see it. Even if he does, I'll have to set them up, so that's really not much of a change, however, the more he actually does, the closer he gets to being able to be on his own. Rose also mentioned talking to others on the property and getting them to handle some things, like the wood supply and kindling, etc., and I'm certainly not complaining about that.
Now, I don't know if this is going to affect the money, but if it does, I won't complain. I don't really know how much of a change this will make, nor how much it will help, but it's a start, and that's something.
