Yeah, that was fun...but what felt better was getting to overhear him with his friend when he didn't know we could hear. He went on, happily, about the stuff I had taught him and what a good teacher I would be, because I made it fun and knew so much. This came out of the fact that, using a bit of foam board to make a shield, we got on to heraldry, so I went on about what they meant, the symbolism of various parts, and how it worked, etc. (We're going to design him a personal coat of arms for the shield.)
THAT felt damn good.
