First For What?
What exactly is the big fucking deal with "first post," anyway? I just don't understand the fascination with making the first post to any forum or whatnot, much less using that post to simply announce that you're the first post. Do you honk your horn to show that you are honking the horn? If you have something to SAY, then yeah, I can see you wanting to get it out there before someone else says it, or refutes it, or whatever...but really now, what's the point?
Just more proof that the 'Net makes you stupid. Without the 'Net, we'd have a higher standard of communication (i.e. no chatspeak, or leet-speak, or lol-speak), and we'd not be regressing to the level of second graders, who want to be first in line.
