Well, hope you all got stuff you wanted. Now, can we calm down? Yeesh. ;)

For the record, I got some stuff I seriously wanted, mostly little game-stuff. The King in Yellow expansion for Arkham Horror, a couple more Z-Man B-Movie card games (Bell-Bottomed Badasses on the Mean Streets of Funk and Scurvy Musketeers of the Spanish Main), a copy of Zombie Fluxx, and the complete series of Bottom on DVD.

Oh, and my present to myself, the 5-disc "ultimate edition" of Blade Runner. ;)

Merry Xmas! We got that same ultimate edition of Blade Runner, but alas, I had to pass it on as the PERFECT gift to my stepfather. Man, I was so tempted to open it and do some "quality assurance" before it left our possession, but I had no time and successfully resisted the urge.

And then of course I forgot to give it to my mom to take back to him, so the Elf just returned from good old UPS. :-P

As soon as I heard they were doing it, I knew I had to have it.

I had also been contemplating picking up the ultimate edition of Blade Runner! It's still on the contemplation table for me. What do you think? Is it as cool as it's hyped up to be?

Completely. I may be a little biased, it being one of my absolute fave films of all time, but still, yeah, well worth it. Hell, just getting all the versions in one place is a nice touch. ;)

Hee...I got Zombie Fluxx too. JM and I got Arkham Horror; let us know how the King in Yellow pans out; I've heard it's terribly good. I also got World War Z, along with a host of other delicious books. Since I'm sick as a dog now I've been gobbling them all up like mad, which will probably make me feel kind of depressed when I'm well with nothing to read.

PS I had NO IDEA Max Brooks was Mel Brooks' son. How awesome.

Arkham Horror, wow, just a wonderfully vicious game. Just can't get enough of it. I recommend getting the Dunwich Horror expansion for it, if only to really set your head on sideways. A very nice and very chaotic addition. The Curse of the Dark Pharoah expansion also adds some very, very useful and fun items. I haven't played with the King in Yellow added in, yet, but from opening it up and reading the inserts...holy fucking GOD, the game is approaching unwinnable. ;)
