Been sick with sinus drainage craperoo for most of the week. Slept for shit last night and had to hit the farm today. Told my brother-in-law to "shut the fuck up with that shit before you sound even more stupid" which I'm sure didn't go over well. Managed to nearly keep my mouth shut while Ray was his normal curmudgeonly self at the dinner table.

Came home, logged in to get the last bit of weekend play out of City of Heroes (a special event this weekend meant double the rewards). Ended up forming up with a team of all friends that we'd scheduled. Server load and connection issues annoyed me while we wandered through missions like we had our heads up our collective asses. Finished out the night on a three-hour-long mission, where we died more than I've ever seen a team die. We got cocky, but we won in the end.

Now, it's 1am, and I'm still awake, watching KISS Meets The Phantom of the Park (my lovely and rockin' wife bought me KISSology, volumes 1 and 2 yesterday), finishing laundry that I never got around to doing. My head hurts, my back hurts, and I'm beat. Gonna sleep late tomorrow and try to get back into the swing of life.

On a good note, I'm down to 286. Gotta keep up the good work, but feels good to see that it's working. Also, confirmed with Doug, last night, that I'll be headed down to Texas March 7-17th.

On a sad note, Roy Scheider died. Dan, I liked him.

Brother-in-laws, man. What the hell is up with them? Way to kick ass on the weight loss though, bro. Keep on keepin' on. Rest up, get feeling better for the big trip. Tell Texas I said hello.

On a good note, I'm down to 286.

I did not interpret this correctly, wondering if the next step was going to be XT.

I'm sorry last night's heroics were so sloppy. I blame my rustiness with tanking and lack of leadership in general. But I feel especially weird leading when I'm SKed up. We had some textbook "soloing in a group" moments, that's for sure. I relied on you guys the whole time, though, and we had some glorious moments too. It's easier to forget those because they don't drag on for hours. :P

It was all of us. I dunno what happened, really. I kept losing track of when force fields were dropping and not refreshing them, and I'm sure my Force Wall knocked some guys out of AoE areas more than once. I think it was mostly a case of everyone being tired from a full weekend of playing.

Where in Texas? To be specific what airports will you be flying in and out of?

Heading to Clute/Freeport area. I believe this means I'll be flying into and out of Houston. Why?
