Came home, logged in to get the last bit of weekend play out of City of Heroes (a special event this weekend meant double the rewards). Ended up forming up with a team of all friends that we'd scheduled. Server load and connection issues annoyed me while we wandered through missions like we had our heads up our collective asses. Finished out the night on a three-hour-long mission, where we died more than I've ever seen a team die. We got cocky, but we won in the end.
Now, it's 1am, and I'm still awake, watching KISS Meets The Phantom of the Park (my lovely and rockin' wife bought me KISSology, volumes 1 and 2 yesterday), finishing laundry that I never got around to doing. My head hurts, my back hurts, and I'm beat. Gonna sleep late tomorrow and try to get back into the swing of life.
On a good note, I'm down to 286. Gotta keep up the good work, but feels good to see that it's working. Also, confirmed with Doug, last night, that I'll be headed down to Texas March 7-17th.
On a sad note, Roy Scheider died. Dan, I liked him.
