Some People...

There was a Stephen King TV movie several years ago called Storm of the Century. I won't bother you with details, they aren't important. At one point, two men are in a truck, and one asks the other if he knows the biblical story of Job. The second man replies that he does, and the first goes on to say that there's a little more to the end that explains a lot. According to this story, after the contest was over and the Devil had given up, Job asked God why, why would he plague him with such horrible curses when he'd been so faithful. God's response was "Well, Job, I guess there's just something about you that pisses me off."

I often think of that line, more than I care to admit. Even among people I know, I find that there's a lot of times I just get very annoyed with something. It's not that I don't like them, I guess there's just something about them that pisses me off.
