If you have 10 minutes or so and want to be wowed, take a gander at this video. It's a fan-made flick of City of Heroes, just showing off the game (not a silly cartoon/voiceover). If nothing else, it really shows off how gorgeous the game is, because that's all actual in-game footage, not rendered cut-scenes.

It also shows off one of the things I love about CoH as opposed to a lot of MMO's...seems like so many of them, you're running around this huge, mostly empty world, getting from one outpost/town/whatever to another across a huge open wilderness area. Not so, here; the places you go have stuff in them. It's a city, and it feels like a city. If you end up somewhere that's wide-open and empty, there tends to be a reason for it (present players, no snark about the Shadow Shard, please. :P). Walking around feels like being somewhere, not just being between villages.
