Just a side note....just finished reading both the PH and DMG, 4th edition. Not only am I impressed, I'm impressed enough to finally put down my beloved 2nd edition books and move on.

Ha, never thought I'd be saying that.

Seriously, though, I like what they've done. Streamlined a lot of superfluous stuff, reorganized things to make it a little easier to find, eased up on a lot of useless rules (and a fuckton of useless third edition crap), and didn't do so by simply making it idiotic. Yeah, it's gonna be a little tough to get rules out of my head that I've been playing under for 20 years, but I think it'll be worth it.
