Well, as usual, hardly any ToTers, but they few kids in my area all know me and made a point of showing up. Littered my front stoop with the skulls from my porch, hung up my "Horror Motel ->" sign, and answered the door in my ribcage t-shirt and Saw mask (the one that looks like the Jigsaw puppet). No surprise, they thought it was way cool, and it was nice to see them actually dressed up in decent costumes, classic looks and not some new anime or something really weak (no offense, just saying). Spent the rest of the night gaming.

Tomorrow is Casa de Doom's "Harem of Horrors" Party, and still not 100% sure what I'm wearing, because I am broke and lame. Should be fun times, though.

Happy Halloween, y'all.

I love it when the people at the houses dress up. There were quite a few in our neighborhood, and one startled Alex so much that I thought he was going to jump out of his skin. Kevin wouldn't go up to one house because of the football player/alien.

There were a lot of ToT-ers in our neighborhood, but I missed the bulk of them while we were out. ToT hours here are 4-8. I gave out candy before we left at 5:30. We returned at 7:15. Next year, I think I'm going to have to take the bowl with me and give it out as we walk.

Being broke and lame can be great for the imagination--I look forward to reading how you fare.

Every year we have fewer tricker or treaters even though more kids live in the neighborhood now. It really makes me sad!

People at work acted shocked that was was taking my Caulin door to door instead of to a church. Personally I'm shocked at the number of people who will not take their kids. Sorry folks but Halloween was just not meant to be spent in a church building. I mean come on most of them are not doing it for safety no matter what they say they are trying to take over Halloween.

To a church?!? Cripes, and I thought taking your kid to the mall for Halloween was bad.

Oh trust me almost every church in town now has some version of a fall celebration that they think you should want to take your child to instead of the traditional Halloween. A few of them do have the decency to hold it to hold it on an alternate day but still.
