So, this guy is looking for investors for his man-powered treadmill (video link). Yes, that's right, you can now run in place to power your forward motion, instead of just walking forward.

Just because you can come up with an idea doesn't mean it needs to be made.

That video was hilarious. I have no idea why anyone would want such a device. You might as well just go jogging.

This video shows people using it as a stationary treadmill, which makes slightly more sense.

It might make vague sense if you could change the gearing. I imagine that one could travel faster and with less impact than running alone. Then again, one could just buy a freaking bicycle.

I am all for making whatever cracked out ideas one has into reality. I just question the logic of building a business plan around said cracked out ideas.
