"No shit, there I was, surrounded by 7-foot tall Swedish guys..."

So I ended up going to the Thrill Kill Kult show tonight anyway. I had tix for me and my friend Molly, and then she couldn't make it, so I gave the tix to 01flux, and she didn't have anyone to go with, so she and I went together. Professional Murder Music opened, and they weren't too bad (the cover of The Cure's 'A Night Like This' was great).

You know what I hate, though? Well...I don't mind mosh pits. When a shitload of people are in one place, bouncing and dancing, you are bound to have some shoving. But then there are those who only want to throw others around, making it annoying on the rest of us...just starting trouble in other words. Those kinds of people, I have no problem making sure that they become intimately acquainted with the floor...repeatedly, if necessary. Oh well, can't be helped.

But I did end up having a good time. Met several people for the first time, and hopefully not the last. Sophat (spelling anywhere close?), your art is gorgeous, hope to see you again. i_feel_sick, good to see you again. rayce, also great to meet you, come over and hang out some night! teknoerotoskizm, an extreme pleasure meeting you, my sincere hope that it will not be the last time.

You know, people ask me why, and I know what my attraction to goth women is. They have such a sense of style and grace about them. They take more time to look a particular way, and they have such creativity in doing so. Yeah, for every gorgeous one, there are 30 frightening ones, ones that you just wanna get a chair and a whip and tell them to back off. Luckily, tonight, I was surrounded by beauty (all the above mentioned ladies)...(*sigh*)...'tis hell sometimes, to have such pulchritude all around you, and not being able to do anything about it. But the company was fun, and I cannot complain in the least.

Sleep well, my new friends.

Yep, you guessed it, another stupid test, this one about what conquerer/statesman I would have been most like, historically:

# 1 Julius Caesar
# 2 Otto von Bismarck
# 3 King Henry VIII Tudor
# 4 Mohandas Gandhi
# 5 Moses
# 6 King David
# 7 Muhammad
# 8 George Washington
# 9 Jesus Christ
# 10 King Nebuchadnezzar II

Hmmm...Julius Caesar...I like that. But any of you boneheads get the idea to come after me with a knife, and we'll have to have a rumble. *LOL*

I really am bored at work today, ain't I?
