Burnout

I had about a half-hour conversation with my supervisor....told him I was on the edge of snapping like a dry and brittle twig and was so burned out on this place that I was considering just walking out and not coming back.

Just in case anyone was curious why I'm happy to be leaving my job soon.

What A Day

Well, it's just one of those days...I think it's showing more than I care to admit. Co-workers are making a point of getting out of my way as I walk down the halls, Supes are asking if I am OK...grrrr. I managed to get my supervisor to give me tomorrow off for purely mental health reasons, and I am jumping on the first train out in the morning for Vancouver. A full weekend with Di...that should help greatly.

Right now, though, I have another hour to survive with out breaking anyone/anything.

(*sigh*)

Pix

Well, one picture, anyway. My guests have found somewhere to live, at least for a while, it seems, which is cool. I'd have put them up for longer, if I could have, but the place has 4 permanent residents as it is...nowhere for more people to be! Stil, I had to get at LEAST one pic with my beautiful freind JeZibel, whio it was VERY cool to get to see!

An Icon Has Passed

I just discovered that Waylon Jennings died, 2-14-02. *s*...same day as Cyn. I think she'd have gotten a kick out of that.

well, anyway, this damn article is sometimes up, and sometimes not...so you can check it if you want.

Waylon Jennings, who gave up his airplane seat to J.P. Richardson, 'The Big Bopper' on Feb. 3rd, 1959; J.P. told him, as he got on the plane "I hope your damn bus freezes up', to which Waylon replied, 'Well, I hope your ol' plane crashes.' Ouch...that plane crash took the lives of Richardson, Buddy Holly, and Ritchie Valens. Jennings went on to stardom, however, and even if you didn't listen to him, you've heard him.

Darkness Good

After this day, all I really wanted to do was curl up in a dark room. Well, I knew I'd just be bored, so it was dark except for an old horror movie (Christopher Lee in Horror Hotel, if anyone is interested). Nice.

Now...finish some laundry, shower, pack...early start tomorrow morning. Everyone be good and have a good weekend, I shan't be around a computer, that I know of.

Oh, and in case I miss it, I want to wish an early Happy Birthday to my good friend othiym...Many Happy Returns, Kendall!
