Burn The World

Crazy? I Was Crazy Once...

INSANITY INDEX: 6.36

Your SaniTest(TM) score suggests that you are haywire. Your neural pathways seem to be oddly short-circuited, which can lead to alarming and/or amusing mishaps. You should be on the lookout for the signs of incipient megalomania, especially if you are the leader of a government. Others who scored at this level include former British prime minister Margaret Thatcher and newspaper mogul William Randolph Hearst.

Fucking Beautiful

Just got home from seeing The Ring. All I can really see is that you need to see this flick. Excellently put together, beautifully shot, and quite suspenseful. Theatres are not comfy for me, but I barely moved during this whole thing...except to move forward and sit up, leaning on the seat on front of me for better viewing. Man, it was actually creepy in places...gorgeous. One of the best parts is that is didn't have a happy Hollywood ending. Just as you think it's over...it isn't.

This was based on a Japanese film of the same name, which I've seen. Unfortunately, it had no subtitles, so I had no idea what it was about at the time...but now I REALLY want to see it again! That is one thing the Japanese do really well, is creepy horror. Think 'Silent Hill' (this could easily fit in with that whole story), or 'Uzumaki' ('Spirals')...lots of internal symbolism, very twisted...gotta love it. Easily the creepiest flick I've seen in a LONG time.

Damn, I am definitely owning this one...probably will get it the day it comes out.

GO SEE IT.
