(no subject)

Just got back from the doc. if you've never had a mole frozen off...well, then you don't know how I feel. not bad, just some irritation. It's a creepy, pinchy feeling. man, am I gonna be glad these things are gone, though. I could have easily done several more, but figured I'd start with these three. One of them, we didn't freeze, just tied it off tightly enough to kill it. He says it'll fall off in a couple's a scary one, frickin' huge, like a whole new growth (you disgusted yet?). Anyway, there ya go.

Oddities for the day:

- Friends find out what happens if you drive the speed limit in Atlanta - video link, SFW

- Photobucket changes their Terms of Service - the relevant part that people were getting creeped out by was the fact that it said that Photobucket was granted "a perpetual, universal, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, license to use, copy, distribute, modify, print, display and otherwise exploit in any manner any User Content and to enable third parties to use the Services to do the same."...however, it's been changed as of March 7th to the following: requires a license to your User Content so that it can host your images and other User Content on its servers and otherwise perform the Services. This license is temporary and will terminate once you remove your User Content from Services. Accordingly, in connection with your use of the Services, you grant to a temporary, universal, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to: use, copy, modify, print, and display any User Content only as necessary to perform the Services and to distribute your User Content in instances where you have (i) made your album public, (ii) posted a link to your album or User Content on another website or (iii) otherwise shared a link or the password to your album or User Content.
Just so you know.

- Project Gutenberg has 17000 public domain e-books for free. Go get your book on.

- Lastly, VERY NSFW, I give you a woman with two assholes, apparently. Probably an odd spot of digital editing, but why? Man, that pic creeps me out and turns me on at the same time.
Rock - Zombie

So, in the mail today, I see a padded envelope. Inside was my copy of TCR's The Chrome Recordings. Now, for those of you who don't know, TCR is mainly two incredible ladies, annathema667, better known as TC, and Robin "Agent" Mulder, formerly of Jack Off Jill.

Now, I've been a fan of TC's ever since I got to know her. From the old Triggerpimp days, through Anna Thema, and into TCR and Satiate. Occasionally, I've referred to her as my rock'n'roll chica caliente, and she's never gotten mad at me for it. I've street teamed the bands. I've talked them up in chat rooms. I've requested songs on Internet stations. Hell, I made the first Anna Thema website. Why? Because TC's my friend. Do I need another reason? Nah, people just get like that for her, because she rocks. Plenty of us have done all we can to help in whatever small way possible.

I've been a little lax about getting the disc. No real reason, just stuff kept coming up, etc. Finally made a point of getting it when I ordered my TCR hoodie (which should be arriving soon). Gotta say, looking through the liner notes on the CD and under "TC would like to thank:", seeing nestled down in the list "Chaos"...well, that was just about the coolest thing I've had in a while.

See? TC rocks. I'd love to get her and strangewink in the same studio, just to see what would come out.

Oh, and the autographed glossy of the band? That's going on the wall.
