TV broadcasters unite to fight FCC on indecency

Seems that the four major networks, their affiliate organizations and a major independent TV station owner told the federal courts that they plan to contest the FCC's March 15 decision that several programs contained indecent language. Hell, I'm impressed; as one industry executive said, "You've got all four networks and all four affiliate organizations and Hearst-Argyle corporation agreeing with each other...Most of the time they can't agree on the color of the sky."

Go get 'em, boys. I may think fairly poorly of network programming, but I think even less of the Puritanical views of the FCC.
