Cerebus (Fed Up)

Anyone else having issues with the new Semagic client? Got an update notice last night, and updated just fine. Fired it up, firewall gave it's usual "hey, something changed!" message, gave permissions, and it logged in fine. Today, I fire it up, and it just hangs at "Authenticating", doesn't actually send any info to LJ to try and log in...firewall shows no network activity for it, but yes, does show that it has permission to do its thing. Even found a slightly newer build, and installed that one, still same issue.

It's not the firewall. I even turned it off to test this, and nothing happened differently. I've even made sure all registry settings were gone, and reinstalled both the new and older versions that worked, and same thing, just sits there. Everything else connects just fine, so it's not my network.

I'm stumped.

EDIT: Uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled...and now it works fine. See, this is the kind of thing that gives me the creeps. *shrug*

Friday Pix

Well, with Semagic going ape on me, I've installed LochJournal. Guess I better just get used to the meantime, here's the Friday Pix!
