I had hoped that the stone would make an 11th hour departure form the premises and I could skip out, but it looks like it's gonna just hide under the bed and be dragged out, kicking and screaming. So, here we go...
Half an hour from now, I'll head out for my procedure. I'll post when I return.
Everything went fine. I'm still a little out of it from the anesthetic, it burns when I pee (from the scope), and my throat hurts from the breathing tube (really can't talk right now), but otherwise, no worries. Funny, I feel worse AFTER all this than I did BEFORE. ;)
Sad part: there WAS no stone. Fragments in the bladder, but he did four passes clear up to the kidney...nothing. He figures I must have recently passed it; how I never noticed this, I have no idea.
Anyway, gonna kick back on the couch for now. I'm not in a bad mood, but the combo of after-symptoms has me grumpy.
