Yeah, so, new issue today. Mission Architect, make your own missions. What exactly sets this apart form the wealth of content we have, but hey, in the end, it's all the same, so sure, fine, whatever. Log in to check it out, and right off the bat, the downtime to get things going runs half again as long. Good job, guys...but hey, whatever it takes to make it work right.
So, get in, and yeah, there's the new buildings...huge eyesores, if you ask me. Take the tour, read all the info, see that the place is packed with people. No surprise. Broadcast chat is already FILLED and SCROLLING with "play my arc!", "who wants to help test an arc?", "LF MA team" spam. Exactly as i expected, but then again, it is the new thing.
Not wanting to deal with it, though, i head to the base editor for some work and quiet...when what to my wondering eyes should appear, but every banner in the base, changed from it's proper color to white-on-white. SG colors still in place, the symbols ON the banners still properly colored, but every banner (and the runners on the tables, I see) solid white. This includes (fun times!) the custom colored ones that took forever to get in place and set properly. Checked with a fellow player, sure enough, not just me.
Why, WHY can they not actually playtest this stuff properly? Why is it that every damn issue is buggy, and half the bugs don't even apply to the new shiny thing they added? Every time, I tell you...and we still have bugs around that were created several issues ago, and still aren't fixed. Why? I have no fucking clue. For some reason, fixing their own mistakes feels lower priority than adding new ones.
