OK, seriously, why does everyone freak out when a beauty queen or runway model or upcoming star or whatnot turns out to have had racy pictures taken in the past? So what? Someone becomes famous because they look good, and then people are shocked that they took sexy pictures? Maybe less clothes than you saw on your prime time TV zombification, but still all about looking good.
Remember the Miss America flap with Vanessa Williams? Old nude photos surfaced, and suddenly she was scandalized. Why? Porn or not, it's still stupid. Now we have a Miss California that posed for racy shots or something...at least Willams' photos were a little controversial for the time, but in this day and age where teens are Twittering cell-phone snaps of their nethers to each other and the world, why is this even an issue? I suppose you could make a case for "this is promoting stuff we don't want", but it's still over-the-top.
But then, humans are damn good at overreacting.
