R.I.P. Karl Malden and Mollie Sugden
Sad to say, another pair of deaths.
Karl Malden has passed away at the age of 97. No cause of death listed, but I'm betting it was simply advanced age. A great actor, he won an Oscar in '51 for A Streetcar Named Desire, and continued a career in Hollywood for dedcades.
Mollie Sugden has also passed away. 86, she had suffered from a long illness. She was best known for playing Mrs. Slocombe in the long-running BBC sitcom “Are You Being Served?” in the 1970s and 1980s.
