I'm Excellent In Support
OK, so, not a big deal to 99% of you, and the vets will just giggle, but I just got done with my very first legitimate WoW dungeon run, and did it as a healer, no less. Feeling fairly accomplished, all things considered; only once did things get out of hand, and that was due to the tank running off and pulling 3x as much aggro as she could handle.

Muy Excellente!

What instance did you run, as what race and class?

Re: I'm Excellent In Support
Deadmines. Went in a 17 Night Elf Druid, came out nearly 19.

That's a great instance.

It's even more amazing when you come back in your low 30's and solo it. =)

Re: I'm Excellent In Support
Yeah, I'm a badge whore, so I'll definitely go back and solo the ones that I miss.

Yeah, pretty much. I have Guild Wars, too, but haven't done much with it. WoW has it's pluses and minuses, but it's keeping my occupied.

I still have Dungeon Runners installed, but that's just to se it "go out with a bang" on New Year's. ;)

What Realm?

Good job, Healers and Tanks are the gold commodities in WoW, well any game really, but in WoW 95% of players are DPS. It only gets better (and tougher) as you go up.

And they are called Achievements, badges are a currency you will get later, you CoH player you.

That guy's on Velen. I have some toons on Shadowsong, Nesingwary, and Cenarius, as well.

I know, I know, just habit. :P

Come to Drenden and play with me! I haz a healer, a hunter, a rogue and a handful of scattered alts.

(Why yes, I am a whore. Thank you for noticing.)
God of Thunder and Rock'n'Rollarchmage on December 15th, 2009 04:22 pm (UTC)
Alliance or Horde?
Erin's Musingsdragonsfancy on December 15th, 2009 06:38 pm (UTC)
Alliance.

Divinehealz- Level 80 Draenei Priest
Maerrin- Level 80 Night Elf Hunter
Valmont- Level 80 Human (male) Rogue

I won't be actively playing again until just after Christmas, though. When I get back, it's gonna be all about the shammy. Her totems are sexy.
God of Thunder and Rock'n'Rollarchmage on December 15th, 2009 08:00 pm (UTC)
Maybe I'll make a Warrior to run with your new shammy, then. what race you planning?
Erin's Musingsdragonsfancy on December 16th, 2009 02:46 pm (UTC)
She's a draenei. Level...thirty something, I think. If you want to make one from scratch, I can roll a druid or a paladin. Those are two classes that I've never tackled.
God of Thunder and Rock'n'Rollarchmage on December 16th, 2009 03:17 pm (UTC)
Ah, already running, then. Well, we'll see.
Erin's Musingsdragonsfancy on December 16th, 2009 04:14 pm (UTC)
I'll give you a heads up when I get the account back active and we'll play it by ear. I took a much needed hiatus to get my life back in order after the ex-asshole left and I'm starting to feel the itch to play again.
God of Thunder and Rock'n'Rollarchmage on December 16th, 2009 04:40 pm (UTC)
Probably smart. Priorities and all.
Erin's Musingsdragonsfancy on December 16th, 2009 04:52 pm (UTC)
Definitely so. WoW served as a buffer to occupy my thoughts after all that shit went down, even though it played a huge part in my divorce, but I had to grab myself by the seat of the pants and apply FTA* therapy. Jason met his new woman on WoW and left me 2/13 to move to GA to live with her.

Foot to Ass.*
God of Thunder and Rock'n'Rollarchmage on December 16th, 2009 05:22 pm (UTC)
Which would be a definitely understandable reason to step back from WoW, yeah.
