Today, all those years of pulling for them, even when it was silly, paid off. Seeing them win their first ever Super Bowl (and them doing it with style) was a lot of fun. I've been to many Super Bowl parties, but we rarely paid attention to the game; we usually gamed or just goofed off and watched the commercials and the halftime show. Somehow, though, sitting around at Don's tonight, we all got into the game form the very beginning. To hear us all cheering them on, you'd think we were life-long fans. 'Twas quite a game, exciting and fun.
A rousing game of Robo-Rally afterward just completed the evening. Sorry to see moonchylde and worshipthesnake leave so soon, but it was a bit of a drive back to their place. Meanwhile, krazyfelioness, Margaret, and bloodred37 watched as matrixleap, herince_emyn, bellybalt, skeets, and myself did the Robot Thang, laughing the whole way in our various frustrations (those of you who know the game can sympathize, I'm sure). A good end to the night.
