Bliss
What started as a slow day with no plans turned into a fabulous evening. daemonwise, matrixleap, and myself pulled together an amazing set of meatloaf burgers and potatoes and fed ourselves, swanwhite, herince_emyn, skeets, and Erik. Add in a few potables, chips, chocolates, a Kahlua Creme pie (and Dusty's Sugar Biscuits!), and a viewing of The Amazing Screw-On Head, and it was a fun, fun evening.

I know I say this every time this happens, but, damn, I need to do that more often. A house full of good friends, good food, and good times? Little slice o'heaven. Seriously, the rest of you are just missing out.

The amazing screw-on head hurts my brain. I tried to sit through it twice, and ended up so frustrated with it that I had to turn it off. I'm a huge fan of Mike Mignola's work, but...not so much this one. Maybe the comic itself is better than the tv short was.

The original comic IS better, but the short was pretty damn close to it. Couple character changes and more backstory, but apart from that, mostly spot-on.

It could be the voice acting that I have a problem with. I love David Hyde Pierce, but I loathe Molly Shannon and everything to do with her.I dunno...it just didn't seem to gel and come together very well for me.

Sounds like good times. I would've been there for sure, but I had some romancing to do. :)
