Party Time, Excellent
Forgive my slightly drunken state, but I really needed it tonight. 'Twas good to get down to the Casa and talk inanities with various people, and a few deeper convos with others. I certainly hope that Bruce had a great birthday gathering and that i did not bring it down with my dour mood, but that's the kind of day it's been. A few excellent hugs and good thoughts from others, and my mood is improving. Well, OK, truth be told, I'm about half-crocked, so that helps.
It helps a little, anyway. Sure, it's only a temporary measure, but it helps me think less of so many situations that annoy the ever-loving fuck out of me at the moment. Hanging out with Dusty afterward and talking helped a lot, too. Sadly, I find myself becoming resigned to a few situations, but maybe that's for the best.
