Who "Owns" Werewolves?

Kayla Patterson, a die hard Twilight/Taylor Lautner fan, is upset that Universal Pictures "ripped off the werewolf idea" from Twilight. Yep, you read that right, the company that put werewolves on screen "stole" the idea from a recent flash-in-the-pan trendflick.

You gotta read the letter, it's hilarious. This has gotta be fake, but I hope it's not.
