I had recently mentioned a "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: 1988" comic, coming out soon. I figure the day's dust has settled enough to admit it was an April Fool's thing, but figured you'd want to see the article, anyway. After all, you have to admit, it sounds like it'd be a helluva lot of fun. Sure, it'd be overly cheesy, but so was a lot of the 80's, after all.
