Can You Hear Me Now?
For the last few days, my headset (a good Logitech USB headphones/microphone dealie) has been making some popping noises. I've had the thing for a good couple, maybe three years, and it's been perfect the whole time, but now...well, sounds like a loose wire. Movement makes it happen more, though there have been a couple times where it worked fine. Go figure, eh? Anyway, today I discovered that the mic no longer works when the boom is all the way down. OK, definitely a loose connection. Needless to say, I'm not too happy about this, but It's not the end of the world, I can always use the webcam for the mic, etc.

I got to thinking, though. I have a small Bluetooth headset that I use when I have Skype up on the netbook. I don't use the netbook often, though, so it's just sitting there. Found a Bluetooth dongle on Amazon that had really good reviews and decided to give it a chance (besides, total came to ~$15, so if it doesn't work out, I'm not out much). If this works out, I'll be up on the deal, as I'll be wireless, which will be nice when it's a phone call.

We'll see. 'Scuse my lesser sound quality on any phone calls in the next few days.
