"Steampunk" is another of those terms that seems to have lost it's meaning in the tidal wave of bandwagon-jumping that the Internet fosters. Once the general public gets to throw their two cents worth into something with ease, the quality and the institution tend to plummet. Sure, there's good versions of all of these things out there, but you have to look harder to find those that are actually dedicated to the ideal, not just to the idea (or the ability to say "me too").

With that in mind, I give you one of the best examples of steampunk and comic-geek blending that I've ever seen: Steampunk Optimus Prime. Check out the attention to detail on this, it's stunning.
