God of Thunder and Rock'n'Roll

Woke up dry heaving. Apparently, enough stuff drained into my throat and stomach that the body rebelled. Nothing like trying to hold back that sort of reaction while you get dressed, get across the basement, up the stairs, and back across the house to the nearest bathroom. Thankfully, though, no actual puking, and feeling fine now. This craperoo can go away any time now, thanks.

Someone put a smile on my face, which helped a lot, too. Be glad I don't go on about this much, or you'd all get really sick of it. Suffice it to say, though, I'm feeling and thinking and wanting things that I've never thought I could have, or never knew I wanted, and it's great. It'd be better without the distance, but good things come to those that wait, slow and steady wins, and other assorted annoying aphorisms.

In other news, I have pants that fit. Haven't had that in years, and it's weird in a good way.
