I need to learn to stop depending on people to do what they say they will do. Sadly, it seems that they let me down, more often than not. I just tend to allow myself to trust too quickly, or to take people up on offers when I either know they have a history of flaking out or don't know them well enough to know they won't. It's just one of those life lessons I cannot seem to learn.

On the flipside, it felt good to get some stuff out last night. Just some stuff to get off my chest to an outside party, getting an opinion and feeling like maybe I'm not crazy or just biased or whatnot. Nice to be reminded of people that I can count on as a good friend.
