I'd post an update, but there really isn't anything to update anyone on. Things are pretty much as they were.

- Still not working, not really looking at the moment. It's more important to everyone involved that I am here and available, and so I am. Doing everything I can around the house, though; among other things, the yard is now my domain, and woe betide he who steps into it.
- Jessica and I are still solid. We have our moments, sure, but each works out fast and strengthens us. We continue to learn and adapt and coalesce. No regrets.
- Still playing Warcraft, still liking it. Admittedly, I'd love to get hold of Portal 2, but I have no consoles here, and I hate the Steam network, so I don't see it happening anytime soon. No great loss.
- 2 different design bits that I've promised to do for friends. I really need to get off my ass and do them.
- Missing gaming like crazy. Missing impromptu grill gatherings like crazy.

Ever have those moments where you just have something you want, and it's gotten to the level of nearly jonesing for it? Yeah.

Sorry but to the best of my knowledge none of your past gamers are living in the Virginia area at this time. If I learn of any who are or anyone that I know moves there who would be a good match for you gamming wise i will be sure to let you know.

What's the beef with Steam? :(

Apart from the prices of new games (in the UK at least...I mean WTF, it's not like they have to pack, print or ship anything!) I generally find it a damn nice peice of engineering and distribution.

Every time I've put Steam on my machine, it's caused problems with my system. Also, i don't like that playing a game on it means i have to be connected to their system, even if it's a single-player game.

The IDEA of Steam isn't bad, I have just had bad times whenever I've used it.
